"Indian Outlaw" is a song by American country singer Tim McGraw. It was released in 1994 as the first single from his album Not a Moment Too Soon. The song was co-written by McGraw along with Tommy Barnes and John D. Loudermilk. The song stirred some controversy upon its release as it was seen as portraying Native Americans in a stereotypical and offensive way. However, it went on to become a commercial success, reaching number 8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. McGraw later expressed regret about the song's lyrics and has not performed it in concert since the early 2000s.
